Behind the scene

I’ve learned that love doesn’t end — it just changes shape. My mama still finds her way to me, sending little reminders from heaven in the most unexpected forms. They are moments of kindness that lands exactly when I need it.

Mama sends me hearts from heaven in the sweetest little ways. A heart-shaped cloud, a rock on a trail, a moment of kindness at just the right time, they’re her quiet reminders that she’s still with me, still loving me, still guiding me. Those small signs keep her close, no matter how far away heaven feels.

They’re small signs, but they feel like her way of saying, “I’m still here. I’m still loving you.”

I’m someone who believes in second chances, open roads, and sunshine whenever I can find it. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me helping rescue dogs, exploring Colorado in my Jeep, or soaking up every bit of summer I can get.

Dog rescue is a huge part of my life. I’ve fostered, transported, and supported dogs who needed safety, patience, and a soft place to land. Each one has a story, and every time I help a dog find a home, it reminds me why compassion matters — in rescue, in work, and in life.

I’m also a Jeep lover through and through. There’s something about the freedom of a dirt road, the simplicity of being outdoors, and the joy of getting a little mud on the tires that resets my soul. Summer is my season — long days, warm nights, and any excuse to be outside with the people (and dogs) I love.

Whether it’s rescuing animals, exploring new trails, or enjoying the sunshine, I try to live with purpose, kindness, and a sense of adventure. That’s the heart behind everything.
